I Will Tell Film Festival lands in Bristol

The 17th edition of I Will Tell International Film Festival in the UK will be a groundbreaking cinematic event with Simultaneous Screenings and Filmmaker Q&As across London, Birmingham and Bristol with the support of the British Film Institute bringing the festival to wider audiences across the UK.

The festival will also host a special screening in Stoke-on-Trent and also takes place in Miami, USA and Bandoo Trace, Trinidad and Tobago. High quality narrative features, documentaries, short films, animation, experimental and more, from across the globe.

One of the festival's highlights is the Bristol Bus Boycott Exhibition, part of the Big Bristol Bus Boycott Takeover, a season of 60 events honouring 60 years of the Boycott.

The Exhibition celebrates the achievements of those who were instrumental in the Bus Boycott movement such as Paul Stephenson, Guy Bailey, Roy Hackett, Owen Henry, Audley Evans, Prince Brown, Barbara Dettering and also less well known men, women, students and other young people. Capture the essence of the movement with photographs, newspaper clippings, artifacts and memorabilia, personal stories and more.

It runs on Sunday 10th September alongside the Red Flags Unfolding and Guardians of Hope showcases of powerful stories at the Lord Mayor's Chapel.
