Love (and chocolate!) is in the air in our latest collaboration

Our Spring 2025 season sees our third screening in partnership with TEDxBRISTOL, as part of a special collaborative series combining great films with insightful talks from experts.

Just in time for Valentine’s day, enjoy a sweet treat in Bristol, the home of the very first chocolate factory, with Chocolat, the delicious story of a woman who opens a chocolate shop at the start of Lent in a pious French village. We will be joined for a talk before the screening by Carlos Ayala, a chocolate maker who offers sensory chocolate tasting experiences.

Carlos is a skilled chocolate maker with a passion for creating a more sustainable approach to how we all consume confectionery. He produced vegan chocolate and also offers welcoming and immersive sensory chocolate tasting experiences.

Bristol is the home of the very first chocolate factory, which makes TEDxBristol the perfect opportunity to explore Carlos’s work in encouraging sustainable food choices from mindful consumption to transparent supply chain.

We can’t wait to welcome Carlos and enjoy this classic romance back on the big screen at the brilliant 1532 theatre.
