Modern Disney Classics come to Clifton Summer Screenings

Clifton Summer Screenings is redefining outdoor cinema in Clifton Village this July! As part of our packed programme, with 15 films playing over three days, we are bringing three modern Disney classics back to the big screen. With heartwarming stories, stunning animation and hit songs, these beautiful movies are deservedly a hit with all ages!

Friday morning begins with Moana, the visually stunning Disney musical featuring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the role of Maui. It’s also got an Oscar-nominated soundtrack courtesy of Lin-Manuel Miranda, guaranteed to be an earworm!

Saturday’s Summer Screenings begin with Disney’s 50th animated feature film, the glorious Tangled. This radical retelling of the ‘Rapunzel’ fairy tale is one of the most expensive animated films ever made - and you can see why in every stunningly rendered shot!

Sunday’s programme at Clifton Summer Screenings begins with the visually stunning Encanto, which won Best Animated Feature at last year’s Oscars. Come for the beautiful animation, stay for Lin-Manuel Miranda’s incredibly catchy songs (including the UK No. 1 ‘We Don’t Talk About Bruno’, Disney’s longest-reigning chart topper ever!) and a surprisingly moving narrative that defies some of the conventions of the Disney formula.
