New Venue: Introducing The Mall Gardens, Clifton

We’re pleased to be heading to The Mall Gardens in Clifton Village for our Clifton Summer Screenings this July. Situated in the heart of Clifton Village, the Gardens provide a tranquil green space in the heart of the bustling village.

The Mall Gardens date back to the late 18th Century, when the first houses were built at the eastern ends of West Mall and Caledonia Place. The buildings on these roads were extended in the 1830s, preserving a tranquil green space along the route.

By the latter half of the 20th Century the Gardens had been divided into two segments and awarded Town Green status; they are owned by Bristol City Council and tended to by the Mall Gardens Residents’ Association.
