Our wine list for Thursday’s screening of Pretty In Pink at Averys Wine Cellars has been confirmed - we’re serving up several shades of delicious rosé and light reds to enjoy alongside this Eighties classic.

Roche Bellemont Rosé 2022

This is a fine example of famous Provence rosé – a Coeur de Cuvée of the vintage and a regular Gold-medal winner. Using purely old-vine, finest terroir grapes, Roche Bellemont offers subtle berry notes with mineral finesse and freshness

Stellenrust Heritage Collection Rosé 2022

Wonderfully crisp, berry-fresh pink Pinotage from Stellenrust, one of South Africa’s most important family wineries. Their vines are largely in Stellenbosch’s ‘Golden Triangle’, which accounts for the exciting quality of all their fabulous wines.

Casa Silva Cool Coast Pinot Noir 2022

A “super-cool Chilean region” (Jancis Robinson MW), Paredones lies just 6km from the Pacific Ocean on the Colchagua coast. Cooled by the sea breeze, the vineyards produce fine Pinot Noir grapes and this wine with silky raspberry fruit and freshness.

Gabel Pinot Noir Kalkstein 2020 

Pinot Noir lovers take note! Germany’s Pfalz excels with this grape. None more so than Oliver Gabel, whose heritage here goes back 365 years! Having worked in Burgundy, Pinot Noir is his passion. Enjoy the pretty fruit and smoky edge of his 2020 vintage.
