What's On In March
Spring is - nearly - upon us, and we have a range of feel-good favourites this March to ward off what is (hopefully) the last of the Winter chill…
This weekend, join us at Averys Wine Cellars, where we’re marking 75 years of three key Ealing comedies, Screenings of Passport to Pimlico and Kind Hearts and Coronets will be accompanied by themed wine tastings - the perfect way to discover - or rediscover - these cornerstones of British cinema.
If you still haven’t had your fill of these classic films, be sure to book in for our Screening Room showing of A Run For Your Money - a rugby-centric caper just in time for the Six Nations!
Later on this month, we’re marking another anniversary - both for a film, and for us! Sideways turns 20 this year - and we’re screening it almost exactly eight years on from the very first time we hosted a Vintage Screening, in the Festival’s very first weekend. Tickets for this screening are extremely limited, so book now to avoid disappointment…
Finally, 19th March sees our return to Aerospace Bristol for the ultimate aviation experience - Top Gun screened beneath the wings of Concorde. Re-experiencing the thrill of the action beneath one of the most famous planes of all times is a cinematic experience sure to take your breath away (sorry!)…
