Venue Spotlight: Redcliffe Caves

One of our most popular venues is situated on Bristol Harbourside, just a stone’s throw from Wapping Wharf and M Shed - and are Bristol’s best-kept secret!

Redcliffe Caves are one of the most fascinating locations in Bristol. Originally created to mine sandstone glass in the 17th Century, these caves (technically a quarry!) have a rich and varied history, having been used by hermits, prisoners of war, and even as an air raid shelter. Now, they are accessed through a gate on the Harbourside, and are usually closed to the public.

The Caves are home to our Underground Cinema and Horror In The Caves series.
