DOORS: 18:30 | FILM STARTS 18:45
We’re returning to the stunning Mount Without this Christmas for the ultimate festive film! Formerly a church dating from the 15th Century, this recently restored creative space on St. Michael’s Hill boasts a rich history. Enjoy a drink in the Crypt, before watching films in the Grade-II listed nave beneath a stunning stained-glass window.
This year, a beloved festive classic is turning 20 years old: it’s Will Ferrell’s infectiously cheery outing as Buddy in Elf! It’s a perfect way to prepare for the festive weekend if, like us, it’s not truly Christmas until you’ve seen this film again…
PLEASE NOTE: there are two screenings; this is the earlier screening at 6:30pm. The later screening at 9:00pm can be booked here.

About The Location
There has been a church on this site for over 900 years, with the original structure dating back to the Norman era; the unusual name comes from an era when it was outside the city’s walls. After major renovation works in the late 18th Century, and again after damage from the Bristol Blitz, the church finally closed its doors and was deconsecrated in 1999. The building was the victim of an arson attack in 2016, but after years of restoration work it has now reopened as one of Bristol’s most unique and characterful new event spaces.
