Considered one of the finest parish churches in England, and an outstanding example of Gothic architecture, the church was once described by Queen Elizabeth I as "The fairest, goodliest and most famous parish church in England" - and who are we to argue?

It is thought that there has been a church on the site since Bristol first became a port, when the Redcliffe area was once separate from the city of Bristol and part of the manor of Bedminster.

From the outside, St Mary Redcliffe is an iconic Bristol landmark - inside, its stunning stained glass, beautiful chapels, and references to various figures from Bristol’s rich history make it the perfect location for us.
