About The Film

2020 | U | 103 mins

This is the biggest and best version of Riverdance ever – the original show but with more dancers, a bigger stage and set, background video screens and new innovations – the most spectacular of all Riverdances. Amy Mae Dolan and Bobby Hodgkins star alongside a company of the finest Irish, tap, hip hop and flamenco dancers in the world.

Stagescreen is a company of specialists in capturing major theatre events for film, TV, cinema and VOD. Their team has won 3 Emmys and over 50 other awards over a 25 year period. Their sweet spot is musicals, which are the most popular and lucrative genre to film, requiring skills and equipment beyond those needed for other forms of theatre.

Television direction of Riverdance was by multiple Emmy and BAFTA award winner Chris Hunt.
